5 years vertical Release.
This will be our 5th year of Epic Ale, and to celebrate, we will have all 5 years of Epic on tap for one night only. That’s 2005 – 2009. There will be (3) three ways to do the tasting,.
1.Buy one or all Epic years for regular price of $6.50 for a 10 oz. glass at your leisure.
2. Buy the package deal of all (5) years Epic in 8 oz glasses, which includes dinner, for $40.
3. Buy the package deal of all (5) years Epic in 8 oz glasses, for $28.
As always, we will have our special release, 1 liter bottles, for $34 and 22 0z bottles available for$22. The drawing for the Sale of the first 50 numbered bottles starts at 7 pm.

Roots is throwing it’s annual Halloween party Saturday 10-31-09 and this year is better than ever. The Party will be held In our new addition, The “Roots Annex” and we will have Lot’s of fun and games and ghoulish food specials! party starts at 8Pm
The band Liquid will be playing on our new stage in the “Roots Annex” starting at 9pm.
Best costume judging will take place at 10 pm.
1st prize is a night at Haystack Inn at Cannon beach.
2nd place is a dinner for 2 at Roots (drinks excluded)
3rd place is a swift kick in the ass! no, but a groooooowler with your choice of beer is yours for the taking.

Friday, 9-4-09, Roots Launches New Menu and Re-Introduces Cask Conditioned Ale!

Roots re-introduces its lineup of “cask conditioned ales”. A new cask conditioned ale Released every Friday in September. Four of our favorite ales will be kicking off Sept. In true roots style… Big and in your face.
If you’re going to re-introduce cask, you might as well kick it off the right way with the Island Red Ale, aged for a month and a half in Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon BBl’s.
This hardy ale already has a lot going on. But this bready full bodied beer married well with the oak and warm alcohol notes of the Bourbon BBL.
This deep crimson Ale pours creamy and has a tight elegant head.
Followed by the Excalibur Imperial Stout (Fri 9-11)
And The Woody I.P.A. (Fri 9-18)
And finishing the month with cask Hoppopotamus “Fresh Hop ale” (Fri 9-25)

Each year we have a local artist design a new label that’s unique to this beer and Roots Organic Brewing Co.
We hand bottle and label each beer. The limited edition Magnums can only be purchased at Roots Organic Brewing Co. and a limited few beer specialty stores around the state.
If you want on you need to be quick, as these have become beer collector’s top purchase over the years and they are usually gone within the first week of its release!
